My dad has cancer, his health is failing and I need to spend some precious quality time with him. I will be out of state for over 2 weeks .
Thanks for your understanding and please send positive energy to my family if you can.
Until next time .V

Sending as much positive energy as I can your way.

Oh, Vilma … you have my heart-felt prayers and good thoughts. I know what it’s like to have a father diagnosed with cancer. I actually envy you because you know you have time left with him to tell him you love him.
My father was diagnosed with a very malignant form of cancer in February of 2002 and he died in March 2002. So I envy you a lot.
Be there for him, for your mom.
You will be in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear about your father’s illness, Vilma. I hope that you and your family find some balance to help you deal with it all. My dad has a cancer tumour in his brain causing extensive tiredness and epileptic attacks. He was diagnosed to live only for a few years, but that was in 1987, and he’s still alive. Of course he won’t live as long as he would’ve if he hadn’t got the tumour, but it’s still a big difference. He has good life quality, lives at home, can function mostly as he normally would although he gets tired fast and have these attacks. One never know what’s going to happen, but there always is hope. If nothing else, trying to get the most out of whatever life we’ve got left, is important. After all, none of us know for sure we’ll still be here tomorrow.
